"Matthews 101" is a free class aimed to educate Town residents about local government and its functions. Each week, "Matthews 101" will feature a different Town department, such as Public Works, Fire/EMS, Park and Recreation/Cultural Resources, etc.
Dates for the spring 2016 session have not yet been scheduled; more information will be posted here as it becomes available. At the conclusion of "Matthews 101", participants will be formally recognized at a future Board of Commissioners meeting to celebrate completing the sessions.
Individuals 18 and older are welcome to participate, and the class will be limited to 20 participants.
Once dates are finalized, an application will be posted on this page for interested participants to fill out to be considered.
