As you begin to clean up your yard and surrounding areas, please be cautious. The ground is saturated and with strong winds - more trees and debris may come down. Don't touch anything that may be in contact with wires, even if you think that they don't have power.

Town crews continue to work to clear roads. This is our priority at this time. Then we will begin clearing sidewalks and other debris. We will be working every day and weekends until it is cleaned up.

Homeowners are responsible for large trees down in their yard. Please be sure to use a bonded and insured tree removal service.

For smaller debris, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Branches and limbs must be cut and stacked into small piles.
- Branches must be cut in lengths of four feet or less and can be no larger than five inches in diameter. - Limbs must be stacked in small enough piles that an individual is able to pick up with a pitchfork at the curb. - Smaller yard waste including; brush, tree & shrub trimmings, and leaves needs to be bagged in clear bags, or other bags left open so the driver can see the contents.
- Do not leave bagged yard waste or limbs and branches blocking the sidewalk or in the street.
- Each residence shall be limited to a max of 20 bags or an amount that can be picked up in a max of 20 minutes.

Thank you for your cooperation.
